They just met, neither of them were attracted to the orc guy when they first met either. Its a fictional anime, it can literally go in any direction, the anime could spin it off as them finding comfort in each other by sharing stories of how dense the guy was and eventually being romantically involved. Its just his theory chill out.

Spoilers for anyone who wants to know however: A harem in which uncle marries them all is not gonna happen. Elf is the jealous type. Mable is way too afraid of elf for direct confrontation and there's another girl... But I don't get the feeling she's assertive enough to pose any real threat to tsun-elf's dominance. The manga also makes it super clear tsun-elf is the main romance... If there ever is any. The rings seem to just suggest how many harem members there might be, but uncle's done some ridiculous things with them like sell one or two, and even given one to a loan shark who was trying to entrap tsun-elf into marrying him by putting her into debt, which was downright hilarious. The manga often jumps around large spans of time during uncle's adventures... So I can't see there being that many more girls besides the main three in the future. I suppose we could always grow the harem in the real world? Maybe an old classmate of uncles will turn up with an old crush on him.

Well if only uncle was like Dr. Hishigata from Night Shift Nurse then he could get those harem. They almost look alike.
